RMG EXPOSED JURIED PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION & SILENT AUCTION
2nd ANNUAL
RMG EXPOSED is a juried photo competition and photography auction being held on Saturday, November 12, 2011 to promote and raise awareness about The Robert McLaughlin Gallery, contemporary photography, as well as showcase the talent of regional and national photographers. The evening includes a live auction, great music and food and a silent auction composed of the winning and honorable mention selections made by the jury from the open photography competition.
By participating in the competition and being selected as a finalist, your donation to the silent auction helps support vital programmes and educational events at Durham’s largest public art gallery, the RMG.
Selected Participants Final Submissions
Selected artists will be notified by email on October 11th by email following jury review. If your work is selected you will be asked to deliver your printed image to the RMG no later than October 21st. All works will be matted and mounted in the gallery for public preview and sold at the silent auction during the RMG Exposed Event. Prize winners in each of the five categories will be announced during the event.
Minimum print dimension for submission is 16 x 12 inches
Timeline Schedule
• Deadline for receipt of all submissions is Monday, October 3rd, 2011 at 4:00PM EST. CONTEST CLOSED.
• Applicants will be notified of their status by email by October 11th.
• Delivery of selected works for silent auction October 21st.
